1. Information We Collect

When you interact with Eshiah through WhatsApp, we may collect the following information:

  • Phone number — your WhatsApp-registered phone number, used to identify and communicate with you.
  • Messages — the content of messages you send to and receive from our WhatsApp business number, including commands, queries, and any business data you share.
  • Usage data — timestamps of interactions, message types, and feature usage patterns.
  • Account data — if you have an Eshiah account, we link your WhatsApp identity to your account for authentication and service delivery.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and operate the Eshiah service, including processing your requests and commands sent via WhatsApp.
  • To authenticate you and link your WhatsApp identity to your Eshiah account.
  • To send you transactional notifications (e.g., order confirmations, stock alerts) that you have requested.
  • To improve and debug our service.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your WhatsApp messages for marketing purposes or share them with third parties for advertising.

3. Data Sharing

We share your data only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers — Meta (WhatsApp's parent company) processes messages as part of the WhatsApp Business Platform. Their data practices are governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
  • Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or government regulation.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Data Retention

We retain your WhatsApp messages and associated data for as long as your Eshiah account is active, or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us (see Section 7). We will respond within 30 days.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Message transmission is encrypted in transit via WhatsApp's end-to-end encryption and at rest on our servers.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of your data.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
